The other approach that might work if you can't get FreeCAD to print to proper scale is to export the dxf file to another 2d CAD application like LibreCAD, and then try and print from that other CAD application. ![]() ![]() But I suspect I was just missing a setting somewhere in the printer drivers. All my other printers kept printing it to about 97% of full size. I also found the boarder in Drawing was at that time causing me complications, I think that was only when I tried to print directly from FreeCAD. So there are quite a few variables.Ībout a year ago I managed to get it to work with the then current FreeCAD, but only be exporting the SVG, then opening it in an external SVG application like Inkscape.I think it was only Karbon that I could get to print it properly at the time.then I adjusted the printer settings, and eventually managed to get only one of my printers to print it correctly 1:1 scale. One of the problems is this is not just down to FreeCAD, your printer drivers also scale printer output. Some of us are hoping it will be in FreeCAD master branch in the not too distant future. The Drawing workbench is currently being rewritten, Luke has made big advances. However it is probably safe to say that whatever version you are using you will have issues.
